Malaysian Cocoa Board (MCB) was established in 1998 under Parliamentary ACT 343, to coordinate and integrate the many facets of cocoa industry and to ensure an integrated and competitive growth of cocoa industry through innovative development. MCB undertakes cocoa R&D, provides opportunity to the industry to expand their market, ensure higher quality of Malaysian cocoa beans, and strives to fulfill its socio-economic responsibility of the industry. MCB will continue to develop and strive for a healthy and sustainable Malaysian cocoa industry.

Functions

  • To conduct and promote research on production, processing, storage and consumption.
  • To conduct and coordinate activities and policies on research.
  • To improve quality
  • To regulate marketing activities.
  • To collect and disseminate information
  • To supervise and coordinate cocoa related activities which covers processing, storage, regulatory and marketing.

MCB Pavilion

MCB have set-up the MCB Pavilion to showcase the latest technologies from researchers and achievements of Malaysian Cocoa Board in cocoa planting. Visit the various display which include video shows, latest technologies, life exhibits of cocoa pods and products which you can see, touch and smell.

Koko Bistro

If you are the chocolate connoisseur, you are invited to be the guest of Koko Bistro which owned by the MCB. Here lies the best cocoa products ever formulated and developed by MCB R&D expertise. The cosy tables, sweet scent of delightful chocolate aroma and fabulous with enchanting chocolate fountain at the center of this open bistro, greet you at your first step in, muffing the busy surrounding with various temptation and mouth watering selections of cocoa products.
